But seriously: The twelve days of Christmas actually start on Christmas day with a partridge in a pear tree, and last through January 5, the twelve drummers drumming, marking the start of the little-referenced first day of Epiphany, which begins on January 6.
In light of the fact that we spend so much time building up to Christmas, let us share with you a little bit of the Christmas after party with our own version of The Twelve Days of Christmas: The Asheville Edition. We hope you had yourself a merry little one, and if you are so inclined, we encourage you to sing aloud wherever you are when you read our Asheville list of Christmas gifts from us, your true love. Singing out loud to a random group of strangers is, after all, a very Asheville thing to do.
